Ashot Shiroian, a composer and filmmaker, was born in Armenia in 1960. Since 1992 he has been living and working in Sweden.

His filmography includes short films, music videos and documentaries, several of which reached wide audience through television and international film festivals both in Sweden and abroad, among which are International Film Festival of Fine Arts (Hungary), Open Air Film Fest Weiterstadt (Germany), Asolo Art Film Festival (Italy),.Golden Apricot Festival (Armenia) and others.

His discography consists of 6 albums with compositions of different genres (acid jazz, crossover, electronica experimental). Ashot's music has been used in short films in Sweden, UK and Spain, in a dance performance in Armenia, in a theatre play in the Ukraine, etc.

Since 1998 Ashot has been working as a director of 3K Studio in Stockholm – a non-profit cultural organization dedicated to the furthering of music and films.
